☽ WOMENS CIRCLES + GATHERINGS..
Gathering women together has been a thread through my life and work since the early 1990s.
In my early twenties, I came across Kisma K.Stepanich’s Sister Moon Lodge planting a seed to circle with friends and housemates for creative connection and conversations.
Over the years, those simple gatherings grew into women’s circles, seasonal gatherings, retreats, workshops and community events around Australia and overseas.
Places have changed, themes have evolved and my life has moved through many seasons but the heart has remained the same….women sitting together, sharing what is real, learning from one another and making space for connection.
Some of my favorite gatherings have been the simplest ones, a circle of women, something nourishing to share, a conversation that opens unexpectedly, random creativity, tears, plenty of laughter and the feeling that for a few hours, there was nowhere else we needed to be.
This thread continues through Sacred Earth today, creating gatherings that are grounded, welcoming and shaped by the women who come.

☽ DRY SEASON SOUNDS….
Sound and music have been another thread throughout my life.
I am a registered singer-songwriter with APRA AMCOS and was formerly lead vocalist for my husband Mark Hoffmann’s award-winning didgeridoo and drum outfit, eMDee.
We travelled extensively, performing at major festivals and events around the world, had our music in rotation on local radio and Triple J, represented Australia in Canada and the UK, and I also released my own self-titled solo EP, featuring guitar and my husband on didgeridoo.
My relationship with sound continued to evolve beyond performance. I went on to undertake formal training in the medicine of sound, exploring vibration, rhythm, voice, listening and the way sound can be experienced through the body.
Today, Medicine of Sound is woven into Sacred Earth gatherings in a different way…
Drum, didgeridoo, voice, vibration, rhythm and deep listening come together in sound journeys for health and wellbeing, held here at Sacred Earth and at retreats and gatherings throughout the Top End.

☽ CREATIVE + SACRED CRAFTING..
There is something special about making things by hand.
Over the years I have brought creative and sacred making into gatherings in many different forms.
Working with natural materials, making medicine drums, wands, amulets and other personal objects, and sharing the simple pleasure of learning something new with our hands.
These gatherings are less about making something perfect and more about the process itself, choosing materials, working slowly, learning the craft and sharing stories.
Creative making may find its way into seasonal gatherings, workshops and other small group experiences here at Sacred Earth.
Hands-on gatherings are shared through the Sacred Earth calendar as they arise.
